My Journey to Global Earth Love

Updated: Jan 7

Finding my way back to the ocean, again and again.
Finding my way back to the ocean, again and again.

If you're new here, welcome. This story begins with Global Earth Love.

My name is Morgan (or Mo), and I’m an adventure and ocean-loving soul with a deep love for the Earth and all who call it home.

I’ve always felt most alive near the ocean—whether traveling along coastlines, diving beneath the surface, walking forest trails, or simply sitting still and listening to the natural world around me. I love to explore new places, connect with people from different backgrounds, teach children, and share stories that invite curiosity, wonder, and care for our planet.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: connection begins outside—and when people feel welcome in nature, they’re far more likely to protect it.

I’m originally from Florida, where the ocean has always been part of my daily life and who I am. Growing up so close to the water shaped my values early on and eventually guided me toward work rooted in marine science, education, and conservation.

Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of roles across research, environmental education, and guiding, gaining hands-on experience both on land and at sea. One of the most formative chapters of my life was working offshore as a Protected Species Observer, where I spent nearly half the year living and working on the ocean.

Living and working at sea, learning from wildlife and letting the ocean lead the way.

During that time, the sea became my backyard. Days were spent observing marine life, monitoring human impact, and learning to read subtle changes in weather, water, and wildlife behavior. Being offshore taught me patience, humility, and presence—and reinforced just how interconnected all life on Earth truly is.

Through Global Earth Love, I hope to share these lived experiences through photography and storytelling—not only to showcase beautiful places, but to make the natural world feel approachable and inviting.

My goal is to help more people feel confident stepping outside—whether that means walking a nearby trail, visiting the ocean for the first time, or exploring a place they never thought was “for them.” Nature doesn’t belong to a select few; it belongs to all of us.

By sharing honest stories, favorite hikes, field experiences, and simple ways to explore, I hope to remove barriers and remind people that meaningful connection with the Earth doesn’t require expertise—only curiosity.

Education has always been a central part of my work, especially working with children and communities who may not traditionally have access to environmental or marine science education. I believe nature education should feel welcoming, accessible, and empowering—not distant or overwhelming.

Through writing, photography, and shared experiences, I hope to expand access to marine science and Earth education, even for those who live near wild spaces but may never have been encouraged to explore them. When people feel included outdoors, stewardship follows naturally.

Global Earth Love is also a space for collaboration and shared learning. I’m always open to working with educators, scientists, conservation organizations, creatives, outdoor brands, and like-hearted individuals who value respect for the Earth and inclusive access to nature.

If you’re interested in collaborating—whether through storytelling, education, field work, conservation efforts, or creative projects—I would love to connect.

Global Earth Love is ultimately about bridging the gap between nature and humanity—and inviting more people into the outdoors with confidence, respect, and wonder. Our future is deeply tied to the health of our planet, and by helping people reconnect with the natural world, we create space for care, protection, and lasting change.

I’m so grateful you’re here, and I’m honored to share this journey with you.
